For small-town beauty that offers plenty of year-round options, Williams suggests Stillwater, Minnesota. “It has a really great state park and the beautiful St. Croix river valley,” says Williams. “But Stillwater itself is really pretty, it has some really beautiful inns, and the town hosts theme dinners throughout the year. It’s very storybook-looking, and especially at Christmastime, it’s very picturesque, with events all over town, and white lights blinking everywhere you look.”
